A method for preparing soil, treating seed, sowing and harvesting black seed onion includes cultivating a plot of preceding crop residues, disking the cultivated plot for a depth of 6…8 cm levelling the surface, under-winter ploughing for a depth of 28…30 cm chiselling the soil, applying the herbicide 2,4-D at a rate of 0.8…1.0 kg, or Dialen, 4 kg/ha, on the fields weeded with thistle, early-spring harrowing, presowing cultivation, spraying with the herbicides incorporating them into soil prior to sowing, loading seed into a tank of a sower, mechanized seed delivery into the sowing unit of the sower, wide-row sowing with row spacings of 45 cm or band sowing (20+50) cm and seed harvesting by the double-stage dividing method providing for treatment of the seed mass in a certain time. Seed treatment with the growth regulator Agroemistim-Extra at a rate of 20 ml/t is carried out additionally, seeds are sown by a drill method with a row spacing of 15 cm in an amount of 50 seeds per meter of a running row, providing 3 mln 333 ths viable seeds per hectare, and a single-stage method of seed harvesting is carried out by treating the seed mass on the harvesting day. |
