A unit for transporting and cleaning tuberous roots comprises a frame, a feeding conveyer, a baffle brush, a cleaner, arranged inclinedly, as a truncated hollow cone, formed by transverse round rods, fixed with gaps and connected with a drive, bringing it in rotational motion, a driving activator, mounted inside of the cleaner, and a blanket cleaner and an unloading conveyer. In doing so the activator is formed by a short hollow cone with the vertex, directed upwards, with said cone arranged on a drive shaft. The cone is formed by round longitudinal rods, fixed on a generatrix thereof with gaps, to which a long hollow truncated cone with the vertex, directed downwards, is attached from below. The generating surface thereof is also formed of round rods fixed longitudinally with gaps. In doing so the lower truncated cone has a gap, which is the same by size thereof, as regards to the internal surface of the cleaner, and its lower end, which extends beyond the limits of the cleaner, has openings at the end. |
