A method for processing liquid radioactive wastes from temporary storage reservoirs involves prepurification of liquid radioactive wastes for removal of mechanical admixtures and organic substances, accumulation of prepurified liquid radioactive wastes, processing of prepurified liquid radioactive wastes, separation of formed flows of liquid radioactive wastes after processing and further processing of separated flows of liquid radioactive wastes, wherein the processing of prepurified liquid radioactive wastes is performed by batch feeding thereof to the flow of circulating eluent passing through the layer of fine adsorbent and by redistribution of components of liquid radioactive wastes in the layer of fine adsorbent. The separation of formed flows of liquid radioactive wastes coming from the layer of fine adsorbent after processing is performed by separation of fractions of pure radioactive components, fractions of mixtures of radioactive and nonradioactive components, fractions of pure nonradioactive components, and further processing of separated liquid radioactive wastes is performed by feeding pure radioactive components for permanent storage, by feeding mixture of radioactive and nonradioactive components for repurification, by feeding pure nonradioactive components for processing and feeding mixtures of nonratioactive components for repurification. |
