According to an embodiment of the present invention as described above, an MAC address-based PC power control apparatus can prevent a waste of power and human resources by allowing a central main PC to remotely control power through a network without a direct movement to the location of a client PC, and can be used in a structure such as an Internet cafe using an existing expensive static IP and in an environment in which an UTP Internet line is used as a private IP structure through an IP router in a PC environment with less than 20 computers, and even in a multi-network structure.
