PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake noise generator of an internal combustion engine that can widen the width of sound quality control, and furthermore, can be improved in layout properties.SOLUTION: A sound quality addition device 10 includes: a branch duct 12 for guiding intake pulsation in an air intake passage 15; a vibrating body 17 provided as a partition-shaped body in the middle of the branch duct 12; a cover duct 19 disposed to form a double tube structure in the vicinity of one end of the branch duct 12; and a volume part 20. The branch duct 12 comprises a pulsation introduction duct 13 and a radiation duct 14. In an area where the branch duct 12 and the cover duct 19 are overlapped with each other in an axial direction, a plurality of small holes 21 are formed in the branch duct 12. Thereby, an internal space of the branch duct 12 is brought into communication with the volume part 20 to provide air permeability. |
