PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transformer station protection control system capable of switching operation from a former facility to a new facility easily and in a short time while performing protection control of at least a duplex system in order to secure reliability when updating a protection control device, and an update method thereof.SOLUTION: The transformer station protection control system comprises: four or more protection control devices 11-14 for performing control output on transformer station equipment 101 on the basis of a status signal from the transformer station equipment 101; and an operation/stop mode setting section 40 for setting two or more of the protection control devices 11, 12, 13, and 14 to an operation mode. When updating each of the protection control devices 11-14, after two or more of the protection control devices 11-14 are completely updated, two or more of the protection control devices 11-14 which have not been updated completely, are switched from the operation mode to a stop mode. The two or more of the protection control devices 11-14 which have been updated completely are then switched from the stop mode to the operation mode. |
