<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide vehicle body fitting structure of a hood lock device by which an engaging work of an operation cable to a lock mechanism is easy, of which the engagement is hard to come off before fitting to a vehicle body, the fitting workability to the vehicle body is successful, and the coming off of the engagement due to vehicle body vibration, etc. is further and certainly prevented after fitting to the vehicle body.SOLUTION: A fitting bracket 11 of a lock mechanism 8 forms a shape with an approximately hat-like cross section having a mechanism support part 11a by which a latch 7 is supported, and a fitting part 11g folded to a side of a radiator support 1 in succession to the mechanism support part 11a, and further folded outward of a vehicle width direction, a notch 11d which engages an operation cable 9 is formed at the fitting part 11g, an upper edge 11d' of the notch 11d is constituted of the fitting part 11g, a lower edge 11d'' is constituted of a rib part 11e projecting to the side of the radiator support 1 from a seating face 11c of the fitting part 11g, and the rib part 11e is inserted into a hole 1b formed at the radiator support 1 at a state that the lock mechanism 8 is fitted to the radiator support 1.</p> |
