PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer control method which can correspond to printers of different specifications.SOLUTION: A printer control method in which a control command sent from a host computer is received, information is printed on a long recording sheet and a single slip T is issued includes a specification identification process S1 for identifying the specification of a printer, a printing process S2 for printing information on the recording sheet, an ending edge position deciding process S3 to decide the position which should the single slip ending edge upon issuing the recording sheet printed with the information as the single slip based on the specification identified in the specification identification process S1, and, a cutting position determining process S4 for paper-feeding the single slip ending edge decided in the ending edge position deciding process S3 up to the cutting position for positioning. |
