PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article solving problems of reduction in liquid transparency or generation of liquid residue.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 100 includes: a surface sheet 1 placed at a skin-contact surface side; a back surface sheet 2 placed at a skin-noncontact surface side; and an absorption body 3 between the sheets. The absorbent body 3 includes a groove 5 at the skin-contact surface side and at least a medium sheet 6 on the groove 5. The medium sheet 6 includes a flat surface part 61 coming in contact with a surface at the skin contact surface side of the absorbent body 3 and a protruding part 62 inserted into the groove 5. |
