PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window glass lifting mechanism of which favorable assembling can be achieved by confirming the assembly state of a guide rail to a drum housing by visual inspection without special devisal such as provision of an inspection hole in the drum housing, and which can reliably restrict the relative displacement in a vehicle width direction of the guide rail and the drum housing after the assembling.SOLUTION: A longitudinal direction wall extending in a vehicle longitudinal direction is formed at an end of a drum housing of a guide rail. A pair of clamping and holding parts, projected from an abutting surface on which the drum housing side edge of the longitudinal direction wall of the guide rail abuts and from a side of the abutting surface, for clamping and holding the longitudinal direction wall from both sides of the vehicle width direction are formed in the guide rail side end of the drum housing. With a view in the vertical direction, the pair of clamping and holding parts of the drum housing cover only a part in the circumferential direction of the drum housing side edge of the longitudinal direction wall of the guide rail. |
