PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption for operations of a plurality of arithmetic units.SOLUTION: A first arithmetic unit and a second arithmetic unit are connected to each other by a first signal line for transmitting a first signal indicative of a state of the second arithmetic unit and a second signal line for transmitting a second signal for causing an interrupt in the second arithmetic unit. The second arithmetic unit outputs the first signal to the first signal line in accordance with the state of the second arithmetic unit. The first arithmetic unit determines whether or not to return the second arithmetic unit to an operating state, on the basis of the first signal received via the first signal line and, when determining that the second arithmetic unit should return to the operating state, outputs the second signal to the second signal line. The second arithmetic unit returns to the operating state on reception of the second signal via the second signal line. |
