PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent malfunction of an EGR valve while ensuring the performance of sufficiently cooling an EGR gas.SOLUTION: An exhaust gas recirculation device 30 includes: an EGR passage 31 connecting an exhaust passage 20 with an intake passage 10 of an engine; a first cooling part 37 provided in the middle of the EGR passage 31; a second cooling part 38 provided on a side downstream the first cooling part 37 in a flow direction of an EGR gas; an EGR valve 35 provided between the first cooling part 37 and the second cooling part 38; and an ECU 50 (control means) for adjusting the cooling performance of the first cooling part 37 and the second cooling part 38 so that a temperature in the EGR gas after passing through the first cooling part 37 is higher than a specified temperature (a temperature at which moisture in the EGR gas condenses) and a temperature in the EGR gas after passing through the second cooling part 38 is lower than the specified temperature. |
