PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a report indicating validity of calibration.SOLUTION: An image formation system includes a control unit for updating a gradation correction table by executing calibration in each fixed interval and allowing an image formation unit to form a gradation pattern when calibration is invalid by switching correction to an invalid state before executing each calibration and form a gradation pattern when calibration is valid by switching correction to a valid state after executing each calibration. The control unit acquires a measurement value of density of a gradation pattern, determines whether calibration of the gradation pattern is valid or invalid, executes each calibration by using the measurement value of the gradation pattern when the calibration is invalid (step S11), and prepares reports respectively indicating gradation characteristics when the calibration is valid and invalid by using the measurement value of each gradation pattern (step S17). |
