PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for upgrading precision in automatic leveling control of a vehicular lamp fitting.SOLUTION: A control unit of a vehicular lamp fitting in accordance with a certain embodiment of the present invention includes a receiving block 102 that receives a detection value of an acceleration sensor 110, a correction block 112 that assuming that z denotes an acceleration in a vehicle vertical direction of the detection value, G denotes a gravitational acceleration, and &thetas;r denotes a road angle inferred from a difference between the acceleration in a vehicle fore-and-aft direction of the detection value and an acceleration in the vehicle fore-and-aft direction obtained based on a vehicle velocity of a vehicle 300, deduces a corrective quantity Ma for the acceleration z according to an equation (1), that is, Ma=G(1-cos&thetas;r) so as to correct the acceleration z, and a control block 104 that uses the detection value, which is corrected by the correction block 112, to output an adjustment signal which instructs adjustment of the optical-axis position of the vehicular lamp fitting. |
