PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase torque by reducing iron loss.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine 1 comprises: a stator 2; and a rotor 3. The rotor 3 includes: a rotor core 6 having slots 20; and rotor bars 30 arranged at the slots 20. In a cross-sectional view orthogonal to a rotary shaft 8, the slots 20 and the rotor bars 30 include a plurality of projections 31 or a plurality of recesses 32 at least at one end surface of both end surfaces in a circumferential direction. The rotor core 6 further comprises outer peripheral parts 19 extending in the circumferential direction so as to expose part of the outside of the slots 20 in a radial direction while covering the other part of the slots 20. |
