PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely photograph a moving subject at a desired position and at a desired timing by a simple operation, as during a moving picture shooting.SOLUTION: A photographing apparatus comprises: an imaging part that images a subject; a frame information acquisition part that acquires frame information about an automatic photographing position when the subject is automatically photographed, based on a user's operation; an automatic photographing position determination part that determines that the subject has reached the automatic photographing position, by making a comparison between information about the position of the subject during the taking of a moving picture of the subject by the imaging part and the frame information; and a control part that takes a still picture of the subject by controlling the imaging part when the automatic photographing position determination part determines that the subject has reached the automatic photographing position. |
