PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of suppressing increase of the number of components while securing connection reliability with a circuit board.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device 1 includes: a first substrate 21 having a display region Eand an input area Eoverlapped with the display region on a first main surface 21a; a second substrate 22 disposed so as to be faced to the first substrate; a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate; a detection electrode disposed so as to be overlapped with the input region; a plurality of electrode terminals for external connection arrayed along the edge of the first main surface of the first substrate, and electrically connected to the detection electrode; a first circuit board 6 connected via a conductive joint member to the plurality of electrode terminals; a first polarizer 4 disposed so as to be overlapped with the display region; and a second polarizer disposed so as to be overlapped with the first polarizer. The first polarizer is configured such that a part of the outer periphery extends from the display region to a place where it is overlapped with the plurality of electrode terminals to cover a part of the first circuit board. |
