<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus and method capable of simultaneously displaying with a main image even an image which is prohibited from being displayed superimposed directly on the main image, or of a non-preferable type.SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus comprises an image generator and an image synthesizer. The image generator generates a turned-over image which is an image of a turned-over portion obtained by folding back a partial area of an inputted main image, the turned-over image allowing the main image to pass through the turned-over portion. The image synthesizer disposes a sub image in a partial area of the main image and synthesizes the main image, the turned-over image, and the sub image.</p> |
