<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle front side member that facilitates positioning a portion of reinforcing materials at a predetermined position so as to be projected from an opening edge of the groove of a kick-up part.SOLUTION: A reinforcing material 16 is a tubular member having: a pair of sidewalls 16a and 16b mutually inclined so as to have the maximum interval W1that is larger than the width dimension D of an opening of a groove 14 of the kick up part and the minimum interval W1that is smaller than the width dimension D in between, and coming into abutment with an opening edge 14a of the groove 14 of the kick up part; and a pair of connecting walls 16c and 16d for respectively connecting both ends in the width direction of the pair of sidewalls 16a and 16b. Accordingly, the pair of sidewalls 16a and 16b of the reinforcing material 16 are brought into abutment with the opening edge 14a of the groove 14 of the kick up part, and thereby the portion of the reinforcing material 16 can be accurately positioned at the position projected by a predetermined height H from the opening edge 14a of the groove 14 of the kick up part 10a.</p> |
