<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus configured to continue image forming operation as much as possible even if a large amount of waste developer abnormally flows in conveyance means in the apparatus body.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 includes an image forming part 12, a container 33 for housing waste toner, and a conveyance member 31 for conveying the waste toner to the container 33. The conveyance member 31 is rotated by a drive motor 32. An image forming control part 94 interrupts image forming operation and causes an image forming condition adjustment part 94 to confirm and correct image forming condition when a drive torque TR of the drive motor 32 detected by a torque sensor 35 exceeds a preset threshold TR(A). When the drive torque TR decreases below a threshold TR(C) smaller than the preset threshold TR(A) as the image forming condition is corrected, the image forming operation is restarted.</p> |
