PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device that can detach a sheet cover from a housing (or a touch panel) and prevent the sheet cover from coming off by mistake from the housing (or the touch panel) during carrying.SOLUTION: A label forming device comprises: a platen roller; a printhead; a nearly box-shaped housing; a touch panel 5A that allows desired operation input to be performed by using an operation face P; and a sheet cover 700 that is provided detachably to the touch panel 5A. The sheet cover 700 comprises: an outer periphery; an inner periphery that covers at least a part of the touch panel 5A so as to tuck down an operation sheet S between the operation face P and the inner periphery; and a plurality of locking claws that are provided on sites other than the center portion along a longitudinal direction of the inner periphery. The touch panel 5A comprises a plurality of locked portions 705 to which the locking claws are respectively locked. |
