PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately group-control each device even when a plurality of devices corresponding to different interface standards are interconnected.SOLUTION: An identifier "iProduct" is set for a USB2.0 hub 11X and USB3.0 hub 11Y existing in the same publisher 2 so that a host device 3 side can recognize that they belong to the same group. The host device 3 side determines whether they belong to the same group on the basis of the identifier "iProduct", and cooperatively operates a plurality of USB devices 13-15 connected to the USB2.0 hub 11X and USB3.0 hub 11Y that are determined to belong to the same group.
