PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glow plug drive control device that can be used at 24 V without changing a circuit configuration for 12 V as much as possible.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device 2 for energization control is serially connected with two glow plugs 1-1, 1-2 for 12 V between a vehicle battery 5 to output a voltage of 24 V and ground. Also, in the glow plugs 1-1, 1-2, zener diodes 4 with a zener voltage of 12 V are connected in parallel, respectively. Alternatively, there are provided an operation control unit 23 having a power supply voltage of 12 V and controlling the opening/closing of the semiconductor device 2 for energization control, and a DC/DC converter 24 for converting the voltage of the vehicle battery 5 into 12 V. The operation control unit 23 can perform the drive control of the glow plugs 1-1, 1-2 by the supply of 12 V voltage obtained from the DC/DC converter 24. |
