The present invention relates to a purchase supporting service of product placement (PPL) on a smart TV which comprises: an advertising product checking step (S1); an advertising product output step (S2); a product selection list providing step (S3); a detailed product information output step (S4); an interest product storage step (S5); and a purchase supporting step (S6) to enable a viewer to easily select a desired product among the registered PPL products displayed on a lower part of a screen, check product information, register the selected product as an interest product or put the selected product in a shopping basket, and pay for the selected product using an internet connection function of a smart TV while watching a program. Therefore, a user can reduce time and efforts by simply checking product information and purchasing a PPL product without being disturbed at watching a TV program when finding the desired PPL product while watching the TV program, a broadcasting station can be more competitive than other companies in fixing advertising rates by emphasizing a direct increase in sales through PPL and can create high profits by securing more users of its own PPL product shopping mall by obtaining publicity for the PPL products and promoting direct purchase of the PPL products, and a smart TV manufacturer can improve service quality and user satisfaction by providing convenience in shipping associated with a broadcast program through its smart TV. |
