PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image generating device capable of further reducing power consumption and reducing costs.SOLUTION: An image generating device drives pressure generating means with a driving waveform generated by driving waveform generating means so that droplet is ejected from a nozzle. The image generating device also comprises: waveform switching means switching whether a driving waveform or a weak driving waveform is output from the pressure generating means according to the voltage level of the driving waveform. The driving waveform generating means comprises: timing control means controlling timing of the waveform switching means, so that when the weak driving waveform has been output to one of the pressure generating means, the weak driving waveform is output to the other pressure generating means adjacent to the one of the pressure generating means at a timing when delay time of crosstalk generated by the one of the pressure generating means elapses. |
