PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend a feeder section that serves as a target of interchange for improving effect of power interchange between the feeders.SOLUTION: A device for controlling an electric railway feeder is connected to a first feeder connected to the load side of the transformer of a first railway substation containing the transformer for receiving power from a power system and a second feeder connected to the load side of the transformer of a second railway substation containing the transformer for receiving power from the power system, and determines the interchange amount of electric energy between the first and the second feeders. The interchange amount of electric energy between the first and second feeders is determined by using the received power of the first railway substation and the electric power of the first feeder, as well as the received power of the second railway substation and the electric power of the second feeder. |
