PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet-material binding processing device capable of reducing user's waiting time when a binding process is performed by manual operation using a movable stapler.SOLUTION: A CPU 162 of a sheet-material binding processing device 50 monitors whether an image formation apparatus 1 can execute an image formation process, and arranges a movable stapler at a waiting position near the image formation apparatus 1 if the image formation apparatus 1 can execute the image formation process. On the other hand, if the image formation apparatus 1 cannot execute the image formation process, then the CPU 162 arranges a movable-stapler moving motor 164 at a position for a manual operation so as to be able to promptly perform a binding process by the manual operation. |
