PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal member that easily suppresses variation of the contour of a seal body formed from a seal part.SOLUTION: A seal member 11 is used for forming a seal body between a body panel and a fitting body by heating after arranged between the body panel of a vehicle and the fitting body fitted to the body panel. The seal member 11 includes a body part 21, and a seal part 31 forming the seal body by surrounding the body part 21 and performing melting and curing due to heating. The seal part 31 has a communication passage 36 that continues from the inner peripheral edge of the seal part 31 to the outer peripheral side and is opened to the outward of the seal part 31.
