PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray diagnostic apparatus capable of reducing cases in which a user cannot recognize worsening of subject's condition in treatment or the like using radioscopy.SOLUTION: An X-ray diagnostic apparatus 1 includes: an X-ray generation unit 12 generating X-ray; an X-ray detection unit 14 detecting the X-ray generated by the X-ray generating unit 12 and transmitted through a subject; an X-ray diaphragm unit 15 controlling irradiation regions of the X-ray generated by the X-ray generation unit 12, on a detection surface of the X-ray detection unit 14; a signal input unit 16 inputting a biosignal with respect to the subject; a signal detection unit 21 detecting the change in the biological body from the biosignal and outputting a switching signal; and an X-ray diaphragm control part 25 controlling the X-ray diaphragm unit 15 so as to widen the X-ray irradiation region when the switching signal is output.
