PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet paper holder that facilitates detaching of the paper end of a toilet paper roll drawn from the surface as well as finding and gripping of the paper end of the toilet paper roll at a position away from it and in addition that facilitates exchanging of the paper roll even for a person unable to use a hand or a person with poor eyesight.SOLUTION: In the configuration of the main body, side plates 11 are laterally placed in parallel, with a back plate 12 arranged in the rear, and a cutting press lid 13 having a paper cutting blade 13a on the tip end side is arranged in the upper part. On the lower part inside this main body, a paper roll holder 2 for freely rotatably holding a paper roll (a) is provided. Then, a paper guide 3 constituted of a lower guide 31, a vertical guide 32, and an upper guide 33 is installed on the upper side of the paper roll holder 2.
