<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress occurrence of strange noise due to a gear rattle in a mechanical mechanism, which interposes between a driving shaft and a second motor, when an engine is decelerated during driving.SOLUTION: When an engine is decelerated during driving, a torque command Tm2* for use in controlling a motor MG2 is gradually increased toward a negative predetermined torque Tref1 (the absolute value is diminished), and a brake torque command Tb* for use in controlling a hydraulic brake is gradually decreased (the absolute value is augmented). When the torque command Tm2* for the motor MG2 is equal to or smaller than a threshold Tref2 smaller (the absolute value is larger) than the predetermined torque Tref1, damping control by a motor MG2 is implemented (S220 to S240 and S260). When the torque command Tm2* for the motor MG2 is larger than the threshold Tref2, the damping control by the motor MG2 is not implemented (S250 and S260).</p> |
