<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time required for focusing on a subject even after an observation device body is moved, and improve response when observing a subject without enlarging a size and increasing a price.SOLUTION: The medical observation device comprises: an observation device body that is provided with a focusing mechanism to focus on a subject, the observation device body being for observing the subject in a state where the subject is focused by the focusing mechanism; a movement sensor for detecting a movement of the observation device body; and a focus control part that, when the movement of the observation device body is detected by the movement sensor, calculates movement information on the observation device body on the basis of a detection signal to be output from the movement sensor, drives and controls the focusing mechanism on the basis of the movement information and focuses on the subject.</p> |
