A web service composition system is disclosed. The web service composition system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes an abstraction module which simplifies at least one web service group into an abstraction web service group when at least one web service group and objective information are inputted; a refinement module which refines the abstraction web service group when a web service satisfying the objective information does not exist in the abstraction web service group; and a web service composition module which composes a web service to create a coordinator web service when the web service satisfying the objective information exists.
