PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring control method for automatically correcting an operation plan when it is predicted that a water level of a dam deviates from restriction.SOLUTION: A monitoring control method of an embodiment has: a data acquisition step of acquiring a preliminarily formulated initial operation plan: a water level simulation execution step of performing simulation of water level fluctuation of a dam when the initial operation plan is used; a deviation determination step of determining whether or not a water level of the dam deviates from river system restriction from a prediction result of the water level fluctuation obtained by the simulation; an operation plan correction step of extracting an extraction operation plan with high similarity with the initial operation plan among operation plans which are stored in an operation plan database and correcting the initial operation plan based on the extraction operation plan when it is determined that the water level of the dam deviates from the river system restriction; and an operation plan database update step of writing the operation plan corrected by the operation plan correction step to the operation plan database.
