PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to assure data transfer between modules having a redundant data transfer path with light load.SOLUTION: A storage device 1 includes: a first to a third controller modules 2a, 2b, and 2c capable of communication by connecting communication paths 6 like a mesh. When the first controller module 2a is a source and the second controller module 2c is a destination, there are a communication path 6c for direct connection and communication paths 6a and 6b for indirect connection as the communication path. When the communication path is communication paths 6a and 6b for indirect connection, an indication unit 5a of the first controller module 2a indicates data transfer to the third controller module 2b that relays data transfer. Upon receiving indication from the indication unit 5a, the controller module 2b performs data transfer whose source is the controller module 2a and whose destination is the controller module 2c by a transfer part 4b. |
