<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply controller capable of monitoring ON/OFF states of many server power sources located in remote areas and controlling ON/OFF operation with facility and low cost.SOLUTION: A power supply controller 10 in a network formed by connecting a plurality of servers 20 and a computer 30 through a communication line 40 comprises: the computer; a power supply monitoring unit 61 for monitoring an ON/OFF state of a power source of each server; a power supply control unit 62 for controlling ON/OFF operation of the power source of each server; and a control circuit 70 for controlling operation of the power supply monitoring unit and the power supply control unit by connecting to the computer and transmitting/receiving a signal. The connection among each server, the power supply monitoring unit, and the control circuit and the connection among each server, the power supply control unit, and the control circuit are performed by using a dedicated line 50 which is different from the communication line 40.</p> |
