The present invention relates to a smart navigation for managing personal connections, which provides a navigation service. The smart navigation for managing personal connections includes a communications unit which receives the identification information and location information of a terminal authenticated to share the identification information and the location information; a control unit which determines whether the terminal exists within a preset region of interest according to the identification information and the location information received from the communications unit; a notification unit which notifies the existence of the terminal within the region of interest according to the determination of the control unit; and a display unit which displays the location information on a map of the region of interest. Accordingly, the smart navigation for social networking can notify a user that an acquaintance carrying the terminal is located within a preset area to naturally lead the user to contact the acquaintance and maintain personal connections, thereby developing personal relationship. |
