PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light-emitting device including a light emission surface having large brightness.SOLUTION: A semiconductor light-emitting device comprises: a phosphor-containing member 12 on a semiconductor light-emitting element 11; and a light reflection wall 13 for reflecting light 21 upward which is emitted from a light emission surface 14 in an oblique upper direction along at least a part of a circumference of a top face (light emission surface 14) of the phosphor-containing member 12. A reflection surface of the light reflection wall 13 returns a part of incident light from the light emission surface to the light emission surface 14. As a result, since phosphor is re-excited by the return light and emitted from the light emission surface 14, brightness of the light emission surface is increased. |
