PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print management system capable of limiting output of printed matter when a person not authorized to see the printed matter is around a printer.SOLUTION: A print management system is characterized in having: browsing authority storage means for storing a browsing authority of a user to printed matter; user detection means for detecting the presence of a user in a position around the printer; browsing authority determination means for determining whether or not the user in the position around the printer detected by the user detection means has the browsing authority to the printed matter; and print control means for, when a client terminal outputs to the printer, in a case in which the presence of a user is detected in the position around the printer by the user detection means, and it is determined by the browsing authority determination means that the user has no browsing authority to printed matter output by the printer, controlling to cause the printer not to execute the output of the printed matter.
