<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption of a system that executes a program stored in an external memory card such as an SD card.SOLUTION: When an SD card 4 is selected as a boot device, after receiving an instruction to read a CPU 1, an SD control unit 3 instructs a clock control unit 9 to stop a clock of the CPU 1, reads a sector including a boot program in the CPU 1, and instructs the clock control unit 9 to restart the clock of the CPU 1 after terminating the sector reading processing.</p> |
