PURPOSE: A storage device and a storage method are provided to reduce abrasions of the storage device by allocating cold data including low access frequency data to a PRAM(Phase-change Random Access Memory). CONSTITUTION: A log block area is used as a writing buffer when writing calculation or updating calculation is requested for data. A hot data area stores data which exceeds a value in which an access frequency is set. An access frequency check area stores the access frequency number of the data. The flash memory includes a cold data area in which the data including low access frequency data is allocated. When the access frequency of the data allocated to the cold data area is over the set value, the data allocated to the cold data area of the flash memory is recorded in the hot data area of a PRAM.
