PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition and a method for suppressing the male sterile of a rice plant induced by low temperature in a boot stage.SOLUTION: The male sterile of a rice plant can be effectively suppressed by simultaneously applying gibberellin and cane sugar which is a carbon source available for the rice plant at low temperature in a boot stage.
