PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the set ring time of a DAC(Digital/Analog Converter) without increasing a chip size.SOLUTION: A drive circuit device 100 for generating a drive signal for driving a video display device in accordance with an input video signal includes: a precharge circuit 151 for inputting a bit signal of l bits (l is an integer which is 2 or more) corresponding to the video signal, and for outputting a signal indicating a gradation level which is equal to or more than a gradation level whose generation is desired on the basis of the bit signal; and a digital/analog conversion circuit 17 for performing the analog conversion of the signal output by the precharge circuit 151, and for precharging a voltage value indicating the gradation level which is equal to or more than the desired gradation level, and for dropping a voltage, and for outputting a drive signal having the voltage value indicating the desired gradation level. |
