PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grasp a curved state of a propeller shaft in a state of having a propeller attached to a vessel as well as grasping the curved state by facilitated work and with accuracy by using a small sized and inexpensive device.SOLUTION: A display surface H is formed displaying a reference point K with an axial line of a propeller shaft 1 passing though on a tip of a projection unit 3 of the propeller shaft 1 by using a curved state grasping device T including: a base 20 capable of being attached to/detached from a vessel; a laser pointer 30 for radiating laser beams; and a support mechanism 50 for supporting a holding unit 40 for the laser pointer 30 to be capable of being moved and positioned to the base 20 and then adjusting so that a radiation point S of the laser beam radiating the position of the installed laser pointer 30 is positioned in the reference point K, next rotating the propeller shaft 1 once in a state of having the laser beam radiated from the laser pointer 30 and detecting displacementδto the radiation point S of the reference point K. |
