PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigeration cycle device excellent in energy saving performance and comfortability by performing defrosting operation in short time.SOLUTION: A refrigeration cycle device comprises: a refrigerant circuit 2 in which a compressor 21, a radiator 22, a supercooling heat exchanger 23, a main expansion device 24, and an evaporator 25 are annularly connected by a refrigerant pipe in this order; a bypass path 3 branching off from between the radiator 22 and the main expansion device 24, and connected to a compression chamber of the compressor 21 or the refrigerant circuit 2 between the evaporator 25 and the compressor 21 by way of the supercooling heat exchanger 23; and a control device 4. The control device 4 executes a heat storage operation for decreasing a flow volume of refrigerant flowing in the bypass path 3 to increase a heat storage amount before starting a defrosting operation for removing frost adhering to the evaporator 25 by heat of the refrigerant. Therefore, it is possible to improve energy saving performance and comfortability by effectively using the bypass path 3 even when the evaporator is frosted, and performing the defrosting operation efficiently in short time. |
