PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system capable of improving communication quality in retransmission processing without producing deteriorated communication efficiency due to a delay, at retransmission processing in a radio communication system that performs cooperative transmission.SOLUTION: In a radio communication system of a representative configuration according to the present invention, performing cooperative transmission to transmit an identical signal from a plurality of base stations at an identical frequency and identical timing, a plurality of base stations 100 include one master station 102 and a plurality of slave stations 104. The master station acquires from a terminal 200 radio communication quality between the terminal and each base station. The master station notifies each slave station of the radio communication quality between the slave station and the terminal. When there is a retransmission request from the terminal, the master station and the plurality of slave stations respectively receive the retransmission request. Only a base station having radio communication quality that satisfies a first quality threshold performs retransmission by cooperative transmission. |
