PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process cartridge which allows the inside of an image forming apparatus body to be shielded from light by holding an opening/closing door in a closing position when the process cartridge is in the image forming apparatus body, and allows the opening/closing door to be held in an opening position when the process cartridge is taken out.SOLUTION: A process cartridge B includes an action part 50 switchable between a first position and a second position. When the process cartridge B is loaded to a body of an image forming apparatus A, the action part 50 in the first position of the process cartridge B is brought into contact with an action object part 61 of a switching gear 60b for switching opening/closing operations of upper and lower doors 30 and 31 provided in the body of the image forming apparatus A, to move the action object part 61, whereby the upper and lower doors 30 and 31 are moved from opening positions to closing positions. When the process cartridge B is unloaded from the body of the image forming apparatus A, the action part 50 of the process cartridge B retreats to the second position from the first position without moving the action object part 61 while being in contact with the action object part 61, to hold the upper and lower doors 30 and 31 in the opening positions. |
