<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict echo, which generates as during dial input, and howling, resulting from this, even in such a special situation that acoustic echo increases in comparison to a situation where conversation is taking place on the phone.SOLUTION: An echo prevention device that prevents echo in a telephone apparatus that has a sound collection part and a voice output part mutes sound collected by the sound collecting part and output from the voice output part so that a signal indicating sound including the above-described sound is not transmitted to a telephone line connected to the telephone apparatus. Mute means is controlled so as to carry out muting during a predetermined period including at least a period of time that an acoustic short circuit transmission path is formed by the body of a user that has approached between the sound collecting part and voice output part in order to input a telephone number.</p> |
