PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device capable of reducing the area of a mounting surface occupied by the device when the device is not used.SOLUTION: An input device 10 is placed on a mounting surface 90 in a horizontal posture to be used by a user when the user performs input operations. The input device 10 comprises: a case 20 having an upper surface 21 directed upward when the input device 10 is placed on the mounting surface 90 in a horizontal posture; an input section 30, which is provided on the upper surface 21 of the case 20, for input operations performed by the user; a shielding cover 50, which is fixed on the case 20 and projects from the upper surface 21 of the case 20, for hiding the input operations using the input section 30 from a third person; and legs 25 and 53 for vertical placement, which are apart from each other, for contacting the mounting surface 90 when the input device 10 is placed on the mounting surface 90 in a vertical posture different from the horizontal posture. At least two of the legs 25 and 53 for vertical placement are provided on the shielding cover 50. |
