Disclosed are a dialog management method using memory ability and a device thereof. The dialog management method using the memory ability according to the present invention comprises: a step of receiving an articulation sentence; a step of obtaining a first response by analyzing the intention of the articulation sentence; a step of obtaining a second response by analyzing the unit knowledge of the articulation sentence; and a step of outputting the final response based on the first response and the second response. The present invention is provided to build a dialog management database which reflects the interest and the concern of a conversion partner and to output a proper response for articulation inputted through the database.
